Chris Moran was inpatient detoxing he noticed that people would come in without their own clothes or belongings. Some people were court-ordered and came from jail, some were from the streets, and some were self admitted. If someone didn’t have clothes the hospital staff basically had community clothes people could share or they would borrow from other patients. That is exactly why Sober Star donates a shirt for every shirt sold to a substance abuse recovery center or homeless shelter. If the facility doesn’t need shirts, we donate the funds it would cost to make the shirts.
